1.   Fill in the sustainability checklist: (properties must have at least 3 ticks to be eligible)
 
2.   Complete the listing form (this is where you provide the listing text, your contact details and up to 4 photographs. Each photo must be web friendly - under 1MB).
 
3.  Submit and sit back (Green Door Property will load your listing. Green Door Property reserves the right to refuse listings that do not meet sustainability criteria or that may, in the opinion of Green Door Property, cause offence or be counter to the intention of marketing genuinely sustainable properties.
 
4. Make a reminder in your calendar to update Green Door Property in 3 months time. (Green Door Property reserves the right to remove listings from the website after 3 months unless notified by the seller/agent that the property is still on the market).

Rating Services

Rating Services - increase your property’s attractiveness to the market
Green Door Property can provide three nationally accredited ratings that give your buyers clear evidence of your property’s environmental worth.
 Note: From January 2010, all Queensland properties being sold must present a Sustainability Declaration. These declarations have limited credibility for the buyer as they are written by the owner of the property with no independent assessment.

Building Thermal Rating
 
Does your property have passive or climate sensitive design? How do you convince buyers that your home keeps itself cool and warm with little costly air-conditioning? Our nationally recognised rating service gives your buyers this evidence and can increase your sale price. We analyse your building plan on an accredited computer modelling system. Your property receives a star rating from 1 (very poor) to 10 stars (very good).
All we need is a building plan. If you don’t have a building plan, send us a sketch of the property's room layouts with the following information included.  
Member of ABSA (Association of Building Sustainability Assessors) ABSA Accredited Assessor Number: 40226.

Building Thermal Rating Service (for Renovation)
Worried your property won’t score too well in the rating above? Don’t despair! We can perform a Building Thermal Rating and then model simple, cost-effective renovation ideas. This will provide evidence of how renovations will increase the property’s rating (and attractiveness to buyers).  
You can chose to do the upgrades yourself prior to sale or to pass this information on to potential buyers. Many buyers like to buy a property that they can improve. Either way, your property will be more attractive to the market.

GreenStar™ Rating
The GreenStar™ System is used at the design stage for commercial buildings.  It measures a range of sustainability factors.
